Based in the Montemar area of Torremolinos, this Scottish Bakery has over a relatively short time built up a fantastic reputation for pies breads and pastries. The business has that all important license allowing him to sell to companies who can then sell on to bars, cafes, restaurants and shops.
The hours of work allow the owners to have a good social life, although the owners golf never seems to improve!
Already there are two companies taking his produce, with a third coming on board very soon.
The bakery has its own shop which takes the bulk of the sales, as business owners from far and wide call daily to get the fresh baked produce to keep their customers satisfied.(Wholesale customers get big discounts on pre orders).
The baker uses imported ingredients to keep the authentic tastes alive in their "bridies" "Irish soda breads", "Dutch apple tarts" plus of course the rolls, scones, pies, and much more.
The bakery and shop are fully equiped to a high standard, and includes a staff shower and changing area.
Torremolinos is on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain, only 5km from Malaga airport. Originally, Torremolinos was a fishing village, but has been rapidly overtaken by tourism. Calle San Miguel, which is lined with shops, runs from the centre of town down to the fabulous beaches. There is a regular train service connecting Torremolinos to Malaga and Malaga Airport to the north of it and south to Fuengirola. La Carihuela, the fisherman’s quarter has many quality bars and restaurants, behind which is the ever popular area of Montemar.  There is a water park, a crocodile park, an auditorium and botanical gardens, as well as the famous market. There is a huge range of restaurants, bars and nightclubs in Torremolinos.
