Famed for its wonderful sunny weather, miles of sandy beaches and its Andalusian people who have a "passion for life", this
is the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. The home of Flamenco dancing, Sangria, great sea food and that famous laid
back lifestyle. The Costa del Sol stretches from Nerja to Gibraltar and is the ideal place to relax and soak up the sun during the day,
and the perfect spot to enjoy a variety of activities at night. The Costa del Sol is the gateway to the "real" Spain and purchasing
property and real estate on the Costa del Sol in Spainng has
been a dream for many.
Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Torremolinos and
Los Boliches are favourite places with tourists on the Costa del Sol, being only a maximum of 30 minutes from Malaga International Airport one of the
busiest airports in Spain. These areas unsurprisingly are
popular areas for real estate sales. Property and
real estate sales here have become a reality for many of foreign buyers. Life in this part of Spain is laid-back but your holiday can be as
lively - or as quite - as you want to make it. If you're the more active type you'll find water-sports, tennis, horse riding, and golf. If your just
here to relax you'll find miles of quiet sandy beaches, and easy going bars and restaurants. Many people who have taken holidays here in Spain over
the years have ended up buying property and real estate or buying
business's because they have loved it so much and prices are reasonable. Many of the property
sales have been made to people who only stay for a few months a year and therefore there are many beautiful properties for rentals in the
area. Please contact us if you are interested in holiday
rentals accommodation
on the Costa del Sol
Fuengirola one of the largest towns on the Costa del Sol is
a great place for souvenirs, handcrafts, fine pottery, leather goods and lace. Costume jewellery is also good value, but don't forget to barter if
you visit the market. The night owls are definitely spoilt for choice with a good mix of bars, restaurants, nightclubs and disco's. Again Fuengirola
has for many years been popular with foreigners looking to buy property and real estate in Spain on the Costa del Sol .
The name Torremolinos always
a popular destination on the Costa del Sol means, "Land
of the mills" but these refer not to wind power but to the watermills
that were built into the rocky cliff face that comes down to the beach. Today
some have been transformed into restaurants and shops. Tourists can expect
great beaches, great weather and especially a great time. The original little
fishing village turned into one of the most famous resorts in the world!! Property
and real estate sales in this area of Spain are
often cheaper than in other areas of the Costa del Sol
Benalmadena
Costa is a purpose built resort with a wonderful promenade
which fronts on to lovely sandy beaches. The world famous marina is a great
place to go for Sangria, to look at the boats and watch the world go by.
The old and unspoilt village of Benalmadéna Pueblo is definitely worth
a visit especially for those interested in inland
property for sale and
inland holiday rentals within
a striking distance to the Costa
del Sol and don't forget to visit the very quaint and charming
amusement park at Tivoli World or take the trip to the nearby mountains on
the cable car. Whatever you do, don't miss the trip to Granada - and Seville
is rather special, too this is real inland Spain.
One highly recommended restaurant is Sala Fortuna. Located in the well-known
Hotel Torrequebrada, this restaurant offers three exciting dinner menus from
9pm to 11pm and a show, which runs from 1:30am until dawn.
The black forest desert is highly recommended!
Marbella on
the western Costa del Sol may be rightly known as the resort
of the rich and famous, property and real estate here is expensive! but everyone
has to visit PUERTO BANUS. Sit at one of the many seaside bars or restaurants
and watch the beautiful cars and people go by the port. The boats are amazing
and so are the people who sail them. Property and real estate sales prices
at this end of the Costa del Sol tend to be in the higher brackets. There
are many opportunities for holiday rentals in this part
of the Costa del Sol. Situated west of Marbella, Puerto Banus includes world-renowned
fashion houses, a casino, marine observatory and a multi-cinema as well as
bustling nightlife. Again property and real estate sales in this part of
the Costa del Sol is in the higher price brackets, which is also passed on
in rentals costs to those seeking holiday rentals. Or why not go to the Mistral
beach, which has panoramic views of much of the Costa del Sol -
the ideal place to wind down and enjoy the Andalusian sun.
A stay in Marbella would
not be complete without a visit to the famous "Silks By The Sea" restaurant.
With two decades of successfully serving a star studded clientele in Puerto
Banus, Silks have spread their wings and set up a glamorous sister restaurant
on the beach at Rio Real. Far removed from a chiringuito, this plush marble-floored
establishment is meant for those who like to dine - or lunch - in style. Enjoy
the Mediterranean and international specialities in grand surroundings.
Most people take the short trip across the border to Gibraltar,
little piece of Britain in the Med still technically on the Costa del Sol
but not legaly part of Spain . You can also visit Granada,
one of Europe 's and Spain ‘s most beautiful cities and a visit to the ancient
town of RONDA is
highly recommended, but not for those suffering from vertigo. Property and
real estate sales and rentals tend to be cheaper in inland Spain the further
away you get from the Costa del Sol . Also checkout the more modern town of
Seville . More
